Update drivers with the largest database available.
Right click on it and select "Update Driver Software". Get the latest official Sharp AR-5618 printer drivers for Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP PCs. The Windows Device Manager will show this device under "Other Devices", probably as "E206U001".

Plug the XE-A206 USB port into a Windows 7 PC and it will try to install the USB device, but fail. Browse to where you unpacked the Customer Support Tool software installation files, and drill down to: Sharp XE-A206 > Setup > Program Files > Sharp ECR Tool > XE-A206 Customer Support Tool > Driver > WinXP this driver will work, but if you run the Customer Support Tool, it will fail to talk to the register unless you run it as Administrator by right-clicking on it. Right click on it and select "Update Driver Software".
